Amicable and pretty friendly staff, everything fairly clean.
Well-equipped room with space for changing clothes and excellent breakfast. Bonus point for WiFi, a safe box, and a balcony. Ideal and nice location near shoping mall and easy access to a mall and a small shopping mall. Very good services, the free parking was available on site...

The staff is very helpful and responsive. Wifi was ok, although somewhat slow. I would say it is a solid 3 star hotel, slightly above or at level of Tulip Hotels in Germany and slightly below Holiday Inn.
Breakfast food is challenging - stick with the porridge)) The rooms resemble a very good soviet era hotel. Tv programming is poor. The location is on the right side - where the old part of Astana is, and that turns out not to be the more exciting one. But with right expectation level, the hotel is good.

Service and food were good
For the price, the hotel was in poor condition. Bed was harder than the floor, door to the balcony was cheap and would not seal when shut

The location was very good. The staff were fairly friendly and polite. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby and on all 22 floors of the 4 blocks of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The security was good.
This hotel has a 4 star rating, I wonder who awarded this rating? I would like to think I am fairly well travelled. I have stayed in numerous hotels all over Europe and I am sorry to that say this does not reach 3 star never mind 4 star. The shower heads in the bathroom of the room that I stayed in was crude and very poor. The panelling around the bath was very poor, the beds were rock hard and very small singles beds. Would have expected two double beds in a twin room in a 4 star hotel. Only 1 English speaking channel on the TV. No BBC, only Russia Today. Also noticed that wallpapering is very poor in the hotel, giving it a quirky poorly finished look. The orange juice at breakfast could be improved. The price of beer at the hotel bar was close to astronomical, converted to sterling it was close to £7 per 500 ml glass. In a comparable 4 star hotel in London a pint of lager is £3.05. This hotel needs major attention to minor details and maybe then it will be a 4 star hotel.
